Hey everyone, it was bound to happen. The more I thought about it, the more I dreded the idea working on this TCG. By all means, I don't hate it, and I don't really HATE updating it. But truth be told, it is 2 years, 3 months, and 20 days old, and it is a mess! I don't like the template, it is old, simple, and hard to make. Nothing is automated, except for the games, which are a giant lifesaver. Honestly, I WOULD like to keep this game running, but I think I was much too ambitious at the time I started. Tackling both movies AND dramas is a little overwhelming, and gave a divided fanbase. Not to mention I heard A LOT of members say they only liked kdramas and didn't think they would want to join because there are so many japanese decks. Which is sad that people thought that way, but I could see why they would say that. Nobody collected the Chinese decks, and there were a lot of movies that nobody wanted. T_T But if I had ALL of the screencaps still saved including the ones that were donated decks, I would keep the site opened in a heartbeat. Basically the site needs to be restructured, of which I don't have that time. While working on my new TCG Evolution, I installed a TCG manager. And MY GOD! Adding decks was so quick, it made me not want to touch this site. Nor have I been happy with the template for about a year now. I want to make something more complicated, but after my computer crashed about 8 months into the game, I lost SOOOO many screencaps, many have been sorted through 1,000s of caps (per episode or movie) or have been done by myself. If this didn't happen, I would happily redo ALL the cards, and replace them slowly over time. I would also ditch the actors completely and redo the awards system. Point is, I just don't have it in me to recap all those TV shows. It is INCREDIBLY time consuming to rent, or download the shows and movies, and time consuming to cap, even if I am just skipping around the shows/movie. BUT my point in saying all this is because 1) I've been around for so long (even longer if you count when we first opened in 2006) and 2) If anyone wants to open up another asian drama or movie site, I would LOVE to help. Whether it is making decks, sending you some of my collected caps, or whatever. I will happily link it here as well for anyone who is searching for a TCG to join another TCG. Thanks everyone for playing. It has been TONS OF FUN!
